Ellen Swift, DDS

Dr. Ellen Swift is proud to be a part of the White Bear Smiles family and especially grateful to practice alongside her father, Dr. Paul Anderson. A lifelong resident of the Mahtomedi and White Bear Lake communities, Dr. Swift grew up surrounded by dentistry. Her father is a dentist and her mother, Mary, is a dental hygienist. Their passion for caring for others inspired her to pursue dentistry herself.

Dr. Swift earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduating with distinction. She previously earned her degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where she graduated with highest honors.

She enjoys treating patients of all ages, and providing a wide range of dental care. What she loves most about dentistry is getting to know her patients and building relationships that last for years. She strives to make every patient feel comfortable, listened to, and genuinely cared for. She considers the patients and families of White Bear Smiles an extension of her own family and feels incredibly fortunate to serve the community where she grew up.

Dr. Swift is a member of the American Dental Association, MN Dental Association, and the St. Paul District Dental Society, as well as several dental study clubs. She is committed to continuing her education and staying current with advances in dental techniques, materials and technology so she can provide the highest quality care to her patients.

Outside of the office, Dr. Swift loves spending time with her husband, Peter, their son and daughter. She enjoys time with family and friends, relaxing at the family cabin, trying new workout classes and discovering new restaurants around the Twin Cities. She feels lucky to call the White Bear Lake area home and even luckier to care for the people who call it home too.
