We've taken the time to put together a great team here at White Bear Smiles, and we'd love to introduce ourselves! Since we enjoy getting to know our patients so much, we thought we'd return the favor. Each member of our team is a professional through and through, but we also like to have fun. We love what we do, and we think it shows. So the next time you come by, be sure and say hi!

Ellen Swift, DDS
Dr. Ellen Swift was raised in Mahtomedi, MN by her father, Dr. Paul Anderson, and mother, Mary, a dental hygienist. Inspired to pursue a dental career, Dr. Swift earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduating with distinction. She previously earned a degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating with highest honors.
Dr. Swift is delighted to be a member of the White Bear Smiles team, and couldn’t be more excited to practice dentistry alongside her father. She treats patients of all ages through a wide variety of dental procedures. She enjoys visiting with her patients, considering them her White Bear Smiles family while providing excellent oral health care.
Dr. Swift is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the St. Paul District Dental Society. These professional associations and an abundance of continuing dental education allow her to better serve her patients while keeping up on the latest techniques and technology in the industry. She is also a member of a local Spear Study Club - a group of like-minded dentists dedicated to education.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Swift is passionate about spending time with her family and friends. She can often be found at ...

I can not speak more highly of this office. They are the entire package! The front desk is organized, kind, and helpful! The doctor has earned my trust with every cleaning and procedure. He is also very personable, knowledgeable, and very thorough. The assistants and hygienists feel like your best friends and are a joy to your day.
Another call out is billing can be so complicated. Does insurance cover this? What am I responsible for? Gosh, that's expensive, etc...BUT here, they do all the leg work for you and make it super clear and honor what they say. They also work with you if that's where you are at.
Lastly, they always make time for me if I need to get in and get something done. Scheduling is easy and accommodating. I recently was at another dental office for invisalign before they started offering it at White Bear Smiles, and they were going to complete a crown for me in 3 visits, where White Bear Smiles did it in 1 visit and also 2 weeks sooner.
Stop searching. This is the Dental Office you want!
