White Bear Smiles

Paul Anderson, DDS

After earning his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Anderson continued at U of MN Dental School, earning his DDS degree and graduating with honors. He then completed a select advanced dentistry residency post graduation.

Dr. Anderson’s passion for learning didn’t stop after graduation, however. He continues to study and seek out new opportunities to learn more advanced techniques so that he can provide the highest quality care for his patients. Dr. Anderson takes courses through the Pankey Institute and others, and has certifications in 3M implants, Biolase, Perio Protect, Cerec, and ZOOM.

To keep an eye on the latest developments in dentistry, Dr. Anderson is a member of several professional associations, including the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, the St. Paul District Dental Society, and the East Metro Dental Study Club.

Because Dr. Anderson believes in supporting the education of every member of his team, White Bear Smiles sponsors specialist training of our entire staff.

Dr. Anderson’s skills have not gone unnoticed, and he’s received multiple accolades, including selection for Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine’s Hall of Fame , Angie’s List’s Super Service Awards, Minnesota Monthly magazine,  White Bear Lake magazine, and NextDoor.com.

Dr. Anderson loves his community and makes time for helping others, whether he’s supporting the Hope Dental Clinic, the Minnesota Dental Foundation,  or coaching youth sports. Outside the office, Dr. Anderson might be found paddle boarding, biking,  or participating in a triathlon, and chances are good that he’ll be with  family.

Surrounded by family and friends, Dr. Anderson and his wife Mary are, as he says, living the dream!

A great experience for the whole family

White Bear Smiles has been a great experience for the whole family. When I was a kid, I was terrified of the dentist. I am thrilled that my kids are having a very different experience! The staff has been great at working with my kids (4 and 7 years), and the dentist has been a positive experience for them. they get excited if they do well and are the "Patient of the Day" and they have fun with their prizes. My daughter had to have cavities filled and even that was simple and not traumatic for her!

We also recently had an out-of-town guest who was experiencing tooth pain. White Bear Smiles got him in and immediately took care of it. My husband and I have nothing but positive feedback for the entire family!
