Paul Anderson, DDS

After earning his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Anderson continued at U of MN Dental School, earning his DDS degree and graduating with honors. He then completed a select advanced dentistry residency post-graduation.

Dr. Anderson’s passion for learning didn’t stop after graduation, however. He continues to study and seek out new opportunities to learn more advanced techniques so that he can provide the highest quality care for his patients. Dr. Anderson takes courses through the Pankey Institute and others, and has certifications in 3M implants, Biolase, Perio Protect, Cerec, Digital Dentures, and ZOOM.

To keep an eye on the latest developments in dentistry, Dr. Anderson is a member of several professional associations, including the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the St. Paul District Dental Society.

One of Dr. Anderson’s greatest joys is the opportunity to be partners with his daughter, Dr. Ellen Swift. Together and with the WBS team, the strong long-term relationships and trust they’ve developed with patients have resulted in many accolades over the years, including selection for Top Dentist in Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine’s Hall of Fame, Minnesota Monthly Top Dentist, White Bear Lake Magazine winners, White Bear Press winners, and NextDoor.com Neighborhood Favorites.

Dr. Anderson loves his community and makes time for helping others. Whether he’s supporting the MN Dental Foundation or coaching youth sports. Outside the office, Dr. Anderson can be found paddle boarding, biking, golfing and most importantly, playing with his 6 grandkids! 

Surrounded by family, friends, and a great team, Dr. Anderson and his wife Mary are, as he likes to say, living the dream!
