At White Bear Smiles, we provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, including children. We understand that children, like adults, might be nervous about visiting the dentist. Fortunately, Dr. Anderson and Dr. Swift are skilled and experienced children’s dentists in White Bear Lake, known for their kindness and clinical excellence.

Our goal with early visits is to help acclimate your child to the dentist’s office so they understand it’s a fun, safe place. Early visits also help your child become comfortable with dental care and give them a jump start on practicing good oral health habits.

What to Expect at Your Child’s First Visit

We start by introducing your child to our dental office and our friendly team. Because we understand kids have an innate curiosity, we allow them to explore, ask questions, and ride in the dental chair.

We will take you and your little one on a tour of our dental office so they can feel more comfortable and familiar. Your little one can meet every member of the team, so they can think of our caring staff as friends. During this first visit, we build trust and look inside your child’s mouth to check their oral health and development, including counting their teeth. When your child is ready, we’ll do a teeth cleaning, which may be during another visit.

We embrace the inquisitive nature of children and celebrate their curiosity by making their dental visits fun and interactive. White Bear Smiles is a welcoming and comfortable environment where your child can get the highest quality dental care possible. And you’ll love having your family in one convenient location!
