What Happens at Your First Dental Exam?
When you visit our dental office for the first time, these are the steps we’ll follow:

- One of our dentists will perform a tooth-by-tooth examination and periodontal assessment. This allows us to ascertain your gum health. We may also take x-rays to help us diagnose any issues.
- Next, one of our hygienists will gently clean and polish your teeth.
- Once your smile is clean and sparkling, we’ll take as much time as necessary to discuss any dental issues we found and create a treatment plan. We’ll answer your questions and schedule any procedures at a pace you’re comfortable with!
